I was one of those kids who pestered their mum during the holidays: ‘Mum, I want to make something’.

As I’m not working at the moment I’ve got time to put all those strange, hoarded materials to use: wine corks, tissue paper, electrical wire, wooden pallets. I don’t have any fancy tools, and most of my materials are collected, found, or scavenged so I don’t typically spend much money – these are easy, cheap, accessible projects.

Inspired by Make Something Month I decided I’d blog, just for a month, the things I’m making in the run up to Christmas.

Check out Make Something Month on Facebook.
